3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew II is still splitting first-team reps with Trevor Lawrence despite the fact that Week 1 is just two weeks away. Head coach Urban Meyer and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell have insisted that Minshew could be the starter all offseason long, but it's surprising that the charade is still intact with Week 1 fast approaching. SI's John Shipley believes that "the consensus thinking is the Jaguars will eventually make No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence the official starting quarterback. Lawrence has been the best quarterback in camp." Most around the team share this sentiment, but until the team actually commits to a starting QB, Minshew cannot be ignored. Minshew is only a viable option in deep superflex leagues at this time.--Casey Kamholz
