Phillip Dorsett II Healthy And Making Plays
3 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Phillip Dorsett II (hamstring) practiced on Monday after missing more than a week with the injury. Dorsett, who needs a strong second half of training camp to ensure a spot on the roster, got to work right away in his return. Per SI's John Shipley, "the Jaguars seem to view Dorsett as a key part of the offense, Tuesday was a perfect example of why." Dorsett's performance "showed his speed and ball-tracking ability, two traits the Jaguars want in their offense to complement their bigger receivers." The fact that Dorsett was both healthy and effective bodes well for his chances of making the team. Dorsett and Collin Johnson are still neck and neck in the competition for the fourth wide receiver job, and the latter wideout has also generated buzz as of late. Dorsett isn't fantasy-relevant at this point in time, but he could make an impact if he beats out Johnson and secures the fourth wide receiver job.
