Brandon Allen Leads Bengals’ Passers On Friday
3 years agoCincinnati Bengals quarterback Brandon Allen finished with 70 yards on 8-for-17 passing during the 17-13 exhibition loss to the Washington Football Team on Friday. The third-year signal-caller will likely secure his spot as Joe Burrow's backup during the 2021 campaign, although that really doesn't do much for his fantasy stock unless there's an injury. He ended last season by taking over for Burrow after he went down with a knee injuring, finishing with 925 yards, five touchdowns, and four interceptions on a 63.4 completion percentage. Nonetheless, he will probably remain undrafted in nearly every fantasy format imaginable. However, Allen is only worth a look if he ends up taking over again at some point during the year.
