Kenley Jansen Completes Easy Save Friday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Kenley Jansen set down all three New York Mets he faced Friday night to earn his 26th save of the season. He struck out one batter. Jansen may not be the dominant closer he used to be, but that hasn't stopped him from producing an excellent season to the tune of a 2.92 ERA, a 1.26 WHIP, and 59 strikeouts in 49 1/3 innings. He's been especially strong over his last seven games with a 1.13 ERA and four saves in that time. Fantasy managers can count on him going forward, even if other relievers get the occasional late-inning opportunity.
