Charlie Barnes Beaten Up By Yankees
3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Charlie Barnes got blasted by the Bronx Bombers Friday night, giving up seven runs on eight hits and five walks in five innings to the New York Yankees in a 10-2 defeat. He struck out two batters, allowed one home run, and saw his record on the year drop to 0-3. With a 6.56 ERA and 1.63 WHIP in 23 1/3 innings this year, Barnes shouldn't be anywhere near fantasy rosters, and he may not be long for the majors either.
