3 years agoColorado Rockies catcher Elias Diaz had a big game on Saturday, going 1-for-3 with a three-run homer, two runs scored, a walk, and a strikeout in a 5-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Diaz reached base with a walk and scored via a Garrett Hampson game-tying home run in the eighth inning. He was still hitless heading into the bottom of the ninth when he swatted a walk-off, three-run bomb off J.B. Wendelken to win the ball game for Colorado. Diaz has come clutch multiple times for the Rockies this year and is now up to 14 home runs and 33 RBI on the season. He pairs those counting stats with a lackluster .232/.299/.451 batting line, which makes him hard to roster in standard fantasy leagues.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
