Tyler Huntley Attempts To Cement Backup Role
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley was the team's only signal-caller to see the field during Saturday's win over the Panthers. Leading the Ravens to an NFL record 19th straight preseason victory, Huntley threw for 187 yards on 24-for-34 passing. He also threw an interception, although he semi-made amends by racking up 23 yards off seven carries. With Trace McSorley (back) out for the rest of the remaining exhibitions, Huntley attempted to make a move toward cementing himself as Lamar Jackson's backup during the 2021 campaign. However, the former remains the favorite to retain the job.
