3 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards made an appearance during Saturday's preseason win over the Panthers. Edwards received only four carries but still managed to rack up 28 yards to finish with an impressive 7.0 YPC. Still, the 26-year-old didn't need to do much to cement his spot as the No. 2 option on the depth chart anyway, as he currently sits comfortably behind J.K. Dobbins. However, Edwards should be viewed as more than just an insurance policy, especially since he should get plenty of touches and scoring chances in the Ravens' run-heavy offensive approach. His stock would increase even more if Dobbins were to succumb to an injury at some point during the 2021-22 campaign.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
