3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez interrupted his streak of strong outings Saturday, giving up five runs on eight hits and one walk in 3 2/3 innings against the lowly Texas Rangers. He struck out three batters. Rodriguez might have managed to right the ship if not for some poor defense, including his own. He took the loss, dropping his record to 9-7 for the year. Rodriguez has pitched better than his 5.19 ERA and 1.40 WHIP indicate, but he's still a risky play for fantasy managers the rest of the way.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
