3 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman (hamstring, quad) will play another rehab game at Triple-A Sugar Land on Monday, according to Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle. This is disappointing news, as it had been reported just yesterday that he could be activated as soon as Monday. He's been out of action since mid-June, and has only appeared in 59 games this season where he's slashing .275/.359/.428 with seven homers, one steal, 34 RBI and 37 runs scored. Hopefully he'll be able to return to action later this week, and managers should continue to keep an eye out for further updates on his condition.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
