Jose Suarez Pulled After Four Innings
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Jose Suarez (5-7) only lasted four innings in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Cleveland Indians. It was a poor start from the beginning, giving up a two-run home run in the first inning. Overall, he allowed three runs on six hits while collecting four strikeouts and two walks. He's been unimpressive as a starter this season, posting a 5.59 ERA across eight starts. On the season, he has a 4.06 ERA with 59 strikeouts and 25 walks in 64.1 innings. Suarez can be left on the waiver wire in almost all leagues, offering little value as a starting pitcher in any category.
