3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Travis Benjamin caught both of his targets for 24 yards, including a 16-yard touchdown reception from rookie quarterback Trey Lance to put the 49ers up 15-10 in the third quarter during Sunday's preseason Week 2 win. Benjamin opted out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 but looked good running routes on Sunday, displaying sure hands on an aggressive throw from Lance that split three defenders on a slant route near the goal-line. The veteran wideout doesn't possess much fantasy value in 2021 but will likely make the 53-man roster after an impressive performance against the Chargers on Sunday.
