3 years agoMiami Marlins top pitching prospect Edward Cabrera will be called up to make his major league debut on Wednesday. Cabrera is a top-5 prospect in the Marlins system and a top-50 guy in all of baseball. He was most recently pitching in Triple-A, posting a 3.68 ERA with 48 strikeouts in 29 1/3 innings. He throws an electric fastball and has a strong slider to go with it as well. His changeup is still developing, but the 23-year-old has a very bright future and should be a fixture of the Marlins rotation for years.
