Antonio Senzatela Earns A Quality Start On Monday
3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Antonio Senzatela took a no-decision on Monday when he allowed one run on five hits with two walks and six strikeouts over six innings in a 6-4 loss to the Cubs. Senzatela was sharp on Monday and was in line for the win until the Rockies' bullpen melted down after he exited the ball game. He didn't surrender a run until the sixth inning when David Bote grounded into a double play put one on the board. The 26-year-old has now put up three straight quality starts and has lowered his season ERA to 4.42 to go along with a 1.39 WHIP and 82:26 K/BB ratio over 118 innings (21 starts). He gets the Dodgers at home in his next turn but is still hard to trust for fantasy purposes given his inability to miss bats on a consistent basis.
