Nathan Eovaldi Excellent For Seven Innings
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi was excellent against the Texas Rangers Monday, giving up one unearned run on four hits and no walks in seven innings. He struck out seven batters, but was forced to take a no-decision when the bullpen blew the lead in the ninth inning. Eovaldi has allowed a grand total of three earned runs in his last three starts, and now has a 3.72 ERA, a 1.17 WHIP, and 147 strikeouts in 145 innings this season. He's a very solid fantasy play going forward.
