3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Chris Flexen earned his 11th win of the season in a 5-1 victory over the Oakland Athletics Tuesday. Flexen allowed one run on six hits and a walk in 6 1/3 innings. He struck out five batters. Flexen now has four quality starts in five August outings and has easily been the most consistent Seattle starter this season. With a 3.54 ERA and 1.24 WHIP on the year, he's worthy of a roster spot in most formats despite only having 95 strikeouts in 140 innings.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
