3 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson (hamstring) has been exclusively playing designated hitter for over a week as he rehabs a hamstring injury. Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said the decision to move Donaldson to DH was to keep his bat in the lineup, but that the 35-year-old has practiced taking ground balls at third base and could return there soon. Donaldson has stayed productive at the plate despite the injury, slashing .267/.290/.467 with two home runs, four RBI, and four runs scored on eight hits over his last seven games.--Chelena Goldman
