3 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson could remain on the active 53-man roster even if he's unable to play in games, per Aaron Reiss of The Athletic. Watson is facing 22 active civil lawsuits for alleged sexual misconduct and sexual assault, which are currently under investigation by Houston Police and the FBI. Reiss reports that unless the NFL suspends the star signal-caller or places him on the commissioner's exempt list before cutdown day, the Texans will have to include him on their 53-man roster. Watson hasn't participated in team drills and has been working out with a trainer away from the team, though he appears to be healthy. The 25-year-old comes with too many question marks to select in drafts right now, though his fantasy upside- three straight QB5 finishes or better- is undeniable. Fantasy investors who are open to the idea of having Watson on their teams should continue to monitor the situation closely.--Tim Capurso
