3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hand) is set to rejoin the team at Target Field on Friday, per Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. Buxton has completed his four-game rehab assignment with the club's Triple-A affiliate, but no decision has been made about when he'll be activated. The speedy outfielder will take batting practice Friday, after which the team will get a better idea of when he can return. At any rate, it sounds like Buxton will be back in action at some point this weekend, meaning he could give patient fantasy managers a month of production, provided he stays on the field. The 27-year-old could make a big impact down the stretch for patient fantasy managers who held onto him.--Tim Capurso
