Ricky Stenhouse Jr. Normal Risky Self at Daytona
3 years agoSince consecutive top-five finishes in 2016 and 2017 (won the race), Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has come nowhere close to that form. The JTG-Daugherty Racing driver has been 17th, 24th, and 32nd since. That tends to be less than optimal when needing a win just to make the playoffs. Stenhouse Jr. does have three top-15 results in his last four races. The No. 47 has just one top-five the entire season. It is a case of being good sometimes but too often not good enough. That three DNF stretch in six races did jolt Stenhouse Jr. Unfortunately, it appears to be too little too late. Tread carefully.
