Christopher Bell Has Some Risk at Daytona
3 years agoIf this was a road course, more would be on Christopher Bell here. The summer oval did not take too kindly to the Joe Gibbs Racing driver last year but he did manage a 13th with a late surge. Also, the Daytona 500 saw Bell lead 32 of the 200 laps. Can he combine the good second half in 2020 with the good first half from 2021? That answer is unknown. He has the speed and downforce to compete with Hendricks or anyone for that matter. However, staying on track will be key or the lead lap for that matter. Bell has only finished on the lead lap once in three attempts at the 2.5-mile speedway. That will cause some fantasy hesitation surely.
