Alex Bowman Bad Track Record at Daytona
3 years agoAlex Bowman has virtually nothing to race for on Saturday night. Combine that with his track record at Daytona International Speedway and the No. 48 appears less appealing. He has two top-ten results at Daytona. The Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver did finish seventh last year and tenth in 2018. Those were the good summer results. Then, there were the 21st and 24th. Also, in February, he crashed early so there is that (35th after lap 14 crash). Bowman just has too much uncertainty to truly gauge what kind of impact he may have. Again, the motivation may be questionable too.
