3 years agoNew York Jets quarterback James Morgan saw a majority of the snaps under center during Friday's preseason finale with the Philadelphia Eagles. The Jets decided to have rookie Zach Wilson sit out, so it was all up to the backup quarterbacks in this one. Morgan completed 13-of-23 attempts, 158 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in what ended up being a tie. It was a fairly nice outing for Morgan, but he doesn't have any chance of being the starter. The Jets are going to start the No. 2 overall pick in Wilson to begin the season. Morgan has made a strong case for backup role, but that won't come with any fantasy value.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
