Brad Miller Delivers Clutch Homer In Win Versus Diamondbacks
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies first baseman Brad Miller blasted a game-tying two-run homer in the bottom of the tenth to help beat the Diamondbacks on Friday night. Miller only went 1-for-5 in the 11-inning contest, but he made the one count as he launched his 13th home run this season. With starting first baseman Rhys Hoskins (abdomen) out for the season, Miller should see more playing time down the stretch. He's batting just .213 thanks to a sky-high 32% strikeout rate, but Miller does have big power, so he's got use in larger fantasy leagues with deep rosters.
