3 years agoCarolina Panthers wide receiver D.J. Moore caught all six targets for 48 receiving yards in Friday's 34-9 win over the Steelers. Moore was held out of the team's second preseason game due to an injury but started Friday's contest, showing off immediate chemistry with new quarterback Sam Darnold. The 24-year-old was targeted often, notably connecting with Darnold for four first downs, two on third down, and one on fourth down. Moore's usage was primarily in the underneath routes Friday, which differed from last season when he totaled a career-high 18.1 yards per catch. While his production came against second and third-string players, the 24-year-old looked the part as a target hog, which should only give drafters more confidence in selecting him at his 61 ADP, the 23rd receiver off the board.--Tim Capurso
