Bubba Wallace Rewarded With Second Place at Daytona
3 years agoBubba Wallace thought he had a good car going into the race Saturday night and he was right. Wallace ran near the front for a majority of the 165 laps and finished third at Daytona. The 23XI Racing driver led eight laps and thought that was that. However, when Chris Buescher was disqualified, Wallace moved up to second. It was his best result of the season. With the news that Kurt Busch is joining him next year on the Michael Jordan-led racing team, Wallace ran his best. The No. 23 will use the playoffs to get ready for next season and learn more about his car on these tracks.
