Gerald Meerschaert showed why he is a veteran of this sport, though, and earned a huge surprise win, submitting Muradov in the second round. Through 6:49 of action, Muradov out-struck Meerschaert, landing 40 significant strikes (41 total strikes) and stuffed seven of Meerschaert's 10 takedown tries on the night.
