Jose Suarez Has Brief Start Saturday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Jose Suarez (5-7) didn't last long against the San Diego Padres on Saturday, pitching just 3.2 innings. The Angels went on to win the game 10-2 after Suarez allowed two runs, on four hits and three walks, while collecting two strikeouts. He still has no quality starts on the season and has produced a 5.53 ERA over nine games as a starter. Over 68 innings, including nine appearances out of the bullpen, he's pitched to a 4.10 ERA with 61 strikeouts and 28 walks. Fantasy managers should avoid Suarez with his lack of production as a starting pitcher and his inability to go deep into games.
