Jon Gray To Play Catch Monday
3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Jon Gray (forearm) will play catch and have his right forearm tested on Monday, according to Rockies manager Bud Black. Gray was forced out of Saturday's game after just two innings due to right forearm tightness. For now, he is day-to-day, and there will be more information once the tests come back. Gray's having a resurgent campaign after a hideous 2020, pitching to a 4.13 ERA, 23.1 K%, 9.8 BB%, and a 1.32 WHIP over 24 starts. He isn't a great fantasy pitcher, but in deeper leagues, he can still provide a decent ERA, despite hurting the strikeout numbers.
