3 years agoHouston Astros starter Luis Garcia (10-6) will take the mound Monday night against the Mariners in Seattle. Garcia is enjoying a very strong month of August, going 3-1 over his last five starts with a 1.13 WHIP, a 3.29 ERA with 30 strikeouts through 27 1/3 innings pitched. Garcia held the Mariners to one run over five innings on April 29 but was roughed up for five runs by the same Seattle team July 26. Garcia's fantasy value also loses luster when he pitches on the road, posting a 4.97 ERA through 11 starts away from Minute Maid Park this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
