3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jalen Hurd caught four of six targets for 25 yards during Sunday's 34-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in the preseason finale. The third-year wideout converted from playing running back in college at Tennessee but has failed to stay healthy during his first two years in the league. Obviously, head coach Kyle Shanahan wanted to heavily involve Hurd during Sunday's game to gauge his skillset for making the final 53-man roster. His performance was decent, hauling in the majority of his targets and rushing once for two yards. However, Hurd failed to create much separation and was quickly caught after making receptions. Hurd should be avoided in redraft, but it is an interesting proposition to roster him as a deep stash in dynasty leagues.--Matt MacKay - RotoBaller
