3 years agoWashington Nationals shortstop Alcides Escobar (knee) was removed early during Monday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. He fouled a ball off his left knee during the first inning. Escobar was forced to leave in the middle of the at-bat. The team will likely give an update on Escobar after the game. Adrian Sanchez took over at shortstop for Escobar and could see a few games there over the next few days. Neither player brings much to the table in terms of fantasy value.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
