Jared Walsh Smacks 25th Home Run Tuesday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels first baseman Jared Walsh clobbered his 25th home run of the season on Tuesday in the 6-4 victory over the New York Yankees. He finished the day 1-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored. Walsh has now homered in three of his last six games after 26 straight games without going deep. His slash line is now sitting at .265/.328/.502 with 79 RBI and 56 runs across 116 games. Walsh looks to be getting back on track after posting a .507 OPS from early July to the end of August. It's good news for fantasy managers, and if he stays hot, he should once again be a starting first baseman in almost every league.
