Charlie Morton Pitches Excellent Against Dodgers
3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Charlie Morton looked much better on the mound on Tuesday. He went six innings, three hits allowed, one earned run, two walks, and eight strikeouts in the 3-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Morton deserved much better than a tough luck no-decision. His only big mistake was a solo home run by Mookie Betts. Nonetheless, he'll take a 3.52 ERA into his next outing versus the Colorado Rockies. On paper, it's a favorable matchup for Morton, but pitching in Colorado is never easy.
