Peyton Barber Heads To Washington Practice Squad
3 years agoAfter releasing running back Peyton Barber ahead of the 53-man roster deadline on Tuesday, the Washington Football Team signed him to their practice squad on Wednesday. The 27-year-old played in all 16 games last year, posting 94 carries for 258 yards and four touchdowns. The emergence of Jaret Patterson ultimately led to Barber being cut, but if anyone in the Washington backfield misses any time this season then he would likely move up the depth chart. Even if he eventually gets some playing time, it is unlikely he will have any fantasy relevance because of the limited workload he would handle.
