Bears Sign Breshad Perriman
3 years agoThe Chicago Bears have signed wide receiver Breshad Perriman to a one-year deal after he was released by the Detroit Lions on Tuesday. The 27-year-old finished with 30 receptions for 505 yards and three touchdowns with the New York Jets last season, which led many to believe he would be the WR1 in a very thin receiving core in Detroit this season. He now heads into a receiver room headlined by Allen Robinson II, Darnell Mooney, Rodney Adams, Marquise Goodwin, and Damiere Byrd. Robinson and Mooney figure to get the majority of the targets, but if either of them misses any time, Perriman could see an uptick in volume. Given his current situation, he will be off the fantasy radar to begin the season.
