3 years agoNew England Patriots kicker Quinn Nordin will open the season as the team's kicker. The undrafted rookie kicker beat out veteran kicker Nick Folk in training camp. That led to Folk being cut on Tuesday, but he'll likely land elsewhere. Nordin was a 72.4 percent field goal kicker in the Big 10. He never finished above 80 percent during his time in college. Clearly, the Patriots believe in him, but Nordin should be viewed as a streaming option more than a weekly kicker in fantasy formats.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
