Brendan Rodgers Collects A Pair Of Extra-Base Hits
3 years agoColorado Rockies infielder Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI, two runs scored, a walk, and a strikeout in a 9-5 win over the Texas Rangers on Wednesday. Rodgers put the Rockies on the board in the top of the fourth inning with a solo homer, his 11th of the year, off Kohei Arihara. He then drove in two more runs with a go-ahead RBI double in the top of the ninth inning. The 25-year-old infielder has put together a solid season in Colorado so far, slashing .281/.336/.471 with 11 homers and 38 RBI across 274 at-bats. He's been a serviceable fantasy option in deeper mixed and NL-only leagues.
