Kohei Arihara Looks Strong In Short Outing
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Kohei Arihara was surprisingly strong on the mound against the Colorado Rockies on Wednesday. He went 3 1/3 innings, one hit, one earned run, and three strikeouts in the 9-5 loss. He actually retired the first 10 batters he faced before allowing a solo home run to Brendan Rodgers. That was the last pitch Arihara threw in this game. Before this outing, Arihara made short rehab starts, so it makes sense that the Rangers limited him. He'll likely get a few more starts down the stretch, but won't have fantasy value tossing three or four innings.
