Curtis Samuel Still Sidelined
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin) was spotted working off to the side at practice on Thursday. The coaching staff has said in the past that they would not rush him back, but this is something that he has been dealing with since minicamp in June. The former Carolina Panther could have used the time at training camp to build a rapport with Ryan Fitzpatrick, but his fantasy outlook shouldn't be changed too much because of his familiarity with head coach Ron Rivera and offensive coordinator Scott Turner. He figures to have a significant role in the offense, so the speedy wideout still remains a solid WR3/4 option for fantasy managers. The 25-year-old is a player to watch ahead of Week 1 as his status still remains unclear.
