Mike Williams Participates In Individual Drills
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams resumed individual drills on Wednesday. The lanky wideout was the No. 6 overall pick in just 2017 and has shown flashes of greatness in his NFL career. Unfortunately, injuries have gotten in the way of the former top prospect. Furthermore, the Clemson standout has achieved a 1,000-yard season (but with two touchdowns) and a 10 touchdown season (but with 664 yards.) If he can manage to stay healthy and conjure those flashes of greatness more consistently in a contract-year, Williams could break out in 2021. The 26-year-old has an innate ability comparable to only wide receivers Kenny Golladay and Courtland Sutton to just win jump balls more often than he should be able to, making him an extremely compelling fantasy asset. With quarterback Justin Herbert now under center opposed to Philip Rivers and the Chargers surrounding cast coming together, Williams may be poised for a breakout season. Going at ADP 108, target Williams as a bench option with extreme upside.
