3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong is on the bench for a Friday matchup with the Milwaukee Brewers and right-handed starter Freddy Peralta. DeJong is hitting .198 with a .289 on-base percentage, 16 home runs, and three stolen bases in 349 plate appearances this season. He'll be replaced in the lineup by Edmundo Sosa. Sosa, who is batting seventh against the Brewers, is hitting .274 in 249 plate appearances. He's also posted a .352 on-base percentage, four home runs, and three stolen bases.
