Antonio Senzatela Earns Another Quality Start
3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Antonio Senzatela earned the win on Friday when he allowed three runs on six hits with three strikeouts over seven innings in a 4-3 win over the Atlanta Braves. This was yet another solid outing for Senzatela, who's now reeled off five straight quality starts. He only struck out three batters during the game but did his best to hold down Atlanta's potent offense. The stellar effort lowered his ERA to 4.16 with a 1.31 WHIP and 90:27 K/BB ratio over 132 innings (23 starts) on the season. He doesn't strike out a ton of batters; he has just 19 punchouts over his last 33 innings, but he's been on a nice little run here. He'll look to keep it going in his next turn against the Giants at home.
