William Byron Could Run Fast at Darlington
3 years agoWilliam Byron tends to run well at Darlington. In his previous two races, he finished in the top five despite not leading a single lap. This Sunday, he starts 14th which could offer the potential for a positive place differential. Again, the Hendricks Motorsports Racing driver likely will have to claw a bit for track position but he has seemed to figure out high-wear tracks. The young driver starts eighth in the chase and though things have been up and down lately (2nd at Michigan, 37th at Daytona), the feeling is that Byron has the car to easily get into the top ten and possibly the top five once more.
