3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Alek Manoah wasn't at his sharpest on Friday, allowing six earned runs over five innings in what ended up as a no-decision in the club's 11-10 walk-off win. The right-hander was a bit wild in this one by hitting a pair of batters while walking three with five hits allowed to just two strikeouts. Manoah has had a couple of blow-up outings like this of late, but he still holds a respectable 3.63 ERA and 1.10 WHIP through his first 79 1/3 innings of his career. The future is very bright for the 23-year-old, but the league has started to adjust to his pitching which could dampen his finish to the 2021 season. Managers in tight championship races may want to sit Manoah since he will face the Yankees in the Bronx next week.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
