3 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Starling Marte is not in Saturday's lineup to face the Toronto Blue Jays. Skye Bolt will play center field in Marte's spot. The absence comes the day after he was hit in the head by a pitch, leaving the game shortly after. The Athletics tested him for a concussion, but he showed no symptoms. Marte's having one of the best seasons of his career, slashing .320/.398/.463 with 75 runs and 42 SBs.
