3 years agoBoston Red Sox infielder/outfielder Danny Santana has been placed on the COVID injured list. He recently returned from a groin injury and will head right back to the injured list. He wasn't bringing much to the table offensively anyway, so the Red Sox should be able to survive without Santana. In a corresponding move, outfielder Franchy Cordero has been recalled to take over the active roster spot. Cordero was hitting well in the minors, but hasn't been able to put it together at the major league level.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
