3 years agoOakland Athletics shortstop Elvis Andrus went 0-for-3 with a strikeout in a loss to the Blue Jays on Sunday. Andrus has had a miserable first season in Oakland as he's slashing just .226/.272/.303 with only three homers and 30 RBI across 129 games played. The veteran shortstop is striking out more than he has in any season of his career and his nine percent whiff rate matches a career-worst.
