3 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley will get the night off Monday night against the Mariners. Seattle will send to the mound left-handed starter Yusei Kikuchi for this matchup which will send the veteran left to the bench. Brantley is hitting only .261 over his last 111 at-bats after hitting .330 through his first 334 plate appearances. Brantley also is not a favorable DFS option against lefties, slashing only .226/.271/.327 against them this season. The veteran simply is getting a breather based on matchup and should be back in the lineup soon.--Joey C - RotoBaller
