3 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Ryan McMahon went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in a 10-5 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Monday. McMahon put the Rockies on the board in the bottom of the second inning when he took Giants starter Kevin Gausman deep with a solo homer, his 21st of the season. The 26-year-old infielder has been slumping at the dish over the last 15 contests, slashing just .184/.268/.408 across 49 at-bats. For the year, McMahon is batting .255 with a .780 OPS, 21 home runs, 70 RBI, and four stolen bases over 451 at-bats. Despite the recent struggles, he's got a chance to set a new career-high in home runs this season. His previous high was 24 back in 2019.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
